Every year, the SSC offers bumper job opportunities to the meritorious students to prove their talent and this job opportunity is one of those chances that are offered to the talented contenders. You need to get that this exam shall be completed under the supervision of SSC in three phases which are as follows:

  1. Phase 1: PST/PET
  2. Phase 2: Written Exam (Objective Type)
  3. Phase 3: Medical Test

So, let’s start knowing the syllabus of Physical Standard Test (PST) and then we will move to other details:

SSC GD PST: In this you will have to clear Height, Chest, Weight parameters which are as follows:

  • Height: This is 170 cms. for Male and 157 cms. for Females.
  • Chest: The Unexpanded chest of Males should be 80 cms and Expanded one should be Min expansion 5 cms.
  • Weight: Please go through the Notification to know about this one.

SSC GD PET: There shall be a race in this round and it will go like this:

Type Male Female
Race 5 Kms. in 24 Minutes 1.6 Kms in 8½ Minutes

For Ladakh Region:

Type Male Female
Race Mile in 6½ Minutes 800 Meters in 4 Minutes

SSC GD Written Exam Pattern:

  • The written exam shall be carrying Objective Type questions.
  • There will be total 100 questions and each question shall carry 1 mark.
  • The Time Duration of Written Exam shall be 2:00 Hours (120 Minutes).
  • The questions in the exam shall be asked at Matriculation level.
  • There shall be 4 sections (see below).
  • Each section carries 25 marks (25+25+25+25=100 Marks).

Part 1: General Intelligence & Reasoning

Part 2: General Knowledge/ Awareness

Part 3: Elementary Mathematics

Part 4: English/Hindi

SSC GD Medical Exam Pattern:
